Aria

Aria

6-12 Math Tutor

I have taught and tutored for over 5 years. My favorite thing about tutoring is helping learners gain self-confidence. Because math builds on itself, we’ll break big problems down to determine areas of confusion. From there, I can teach you to use what you already know to solve what you don’t. I am so excited to help you grow as a mathematician!

6-12 Math and Physics Tutor

I have taught high school math for 7 years. I truly believe everyone is capable of being successful in math- sometimes we just need more time to practice at our own pace. I love getting to know students and showing them how math can show up in our real life. I can’t wait to help you find confidence in your math abilities!

I have taught math for 10 years and have loved every second of it! Most recently I taught Secondary Math 1 in Utah. I earned my Master degree in Math Education from Western Governors University. My goal is to give students positive experiences with math. Math is hard, but that doesn’t mean it’s impossible!

6-College Math and Statistics Tutor

You will often find me outside camping, hiking, picnicking, playing catch, swimming…anything outside and I’m game. My favorite part of tutoring is getting to know each person’s learning style and teaching to their strengths. If you don’t get a problem the first way it’s explained I love to explain it another way. I’m here to make math better for you!

I work well with all types of learners and will do my best to find a strategy that will work for them; I can’t wait to see you be successful with math.

I love getting to know students and learning their unique preferences and strengths. I have a masters degree in special education and 14+ years of experience teaching and tutoring math to students of all ages, with and without disabilities. One of my favorite things in teaching is when students start to feel success in something that felt like a struggle previously. I also love to have fun with students and find ways to enjoy the learning experience together.

3-6 Math Tutor

I have spent five years teaching math and three years tutoring, and I absolutely love it. Helping students bridge gaps and meeting them where they are is my passion. I focus on making sure students truly understand the material, not just checking off standards. It’s all about seeing those “aha” moments and fostering real learning.

3-6 Math Tutor

I have had the pleasure of teaching children math for the past 10 years, mainly working with students in grades 3-5 and grade 8. My favorite aspect of tutoring is getting to know my students and their individual interests and needs, while helping them gain math confidence. I’d love to help you explore many ways to solve problems, relate math to the real world, and have fun! In my spare time, I enjoy practicing yoga, being outdoors, and spending time with my husband and daughter. I can’t wait to learn and grow with you!
